CLEVELAND – Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael C. O’Malley announced that a Cuyahoga County grand jury has returned an indictment charging Eric Bartlett, 39, John Orr, 22, and Christopher Perry, 52, for child exploitation charges.

Eric Bartlett

Eric Bartlett actively acquired and viewed child exploitation material. In response to a Cybertip from NCMEC a search warrant was executed by the Ohio ICAC Task Force with assistance from Homeland Security Investigations – Cleveland (HSI), the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation – Cleveland (BCI), and the Cleveland Heights Police Department at Bartlett’s residence near Revere Road and Grosvenor Road in Cleveland Heights on January 20, 2023.

Investigators obtained child exploitation materials associated with Bartlett’s multiple accounts on popular social media applications and electronic devices. Additional investigation revealed that Bartlett was actively communicating with minor children under an assumed identity and had been exchanging child exploitation materials with other users.

Bartlett was previously registered as a Tier II sex offender.

John Orr

John Orr actively acquired and viewed child exploitation material. In response to a Cybertip from NCMEC a search warrant was executed by the Ohio ICAC Task Force with assistance from HSI – Cleveland, BCI – Cleveland, and the North Royalton Police Department at Orr’s residence near Windsor Drive and Dover Farms Drive in North Royalton on October 7, 2022.

Investigators discovered that Orr obtained child exploitation material from popular social media applications and had been exchanging child exploitation material with other application users.

Christopher Perry

Christopher Perry actively acquired and viewed child exploitation material. In response to a Cybertip from NCMEC a search warrant was executed by the Ohio ICAC Task Force with assistance from HSI – Cleveland, BCI – Cleveland, and the Euclid Police Department at Perry’s residence near Glenforest Road and East 241st Street in Euclid on October 21, 2022.

Investigators discovered that Perry had obtained child exploitation material from a popular social messaging application.

Eric Bartlett was indicted on the following charges:

  • 16 counts of Pandering Sexually-Oriented Material Involving A Minor
  • Six counts of Illegal Use Of A Minor In Nudity-Oriented Material Or Performance
  • One count of Possessing Criminal Tools

John Orr was indicted on the following charges:

  • Six counts of Pandering Sexually-Oriented Material Involving A Minor
  • Ten counts of Illegal Use Of A Minor In Nudity-Oriented Material Or Performance
  • One count of Possessing Criminal Tools

Christopher Perry was indicted on the following charges:

  • 16 counts of Pandering Sexually-Oriented Material Involving A Minor
  • Four counts of Illegal Use Of A Minor In Nudity-Oriented Material Or Performance
  • One count of Possessing Criminal Tools
