CLEVELAND – Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael C. O’Malley announced that a Cuyahoga County grand jury has returned an indictment charging Treveon Jones, 18, Jaahdarion Louis-Jones, 20, and Anthony Evans, 21, with additional charges for six separate carjackings that happened throughout Cuyahoga County.

“Crime does not stop at any jurisdictional border. Carjackings can happen to anyone at any time. Please remain vigilant, do not attempt to fight, and be aware of your surroundings. We will continue to bring these individuals to justice on behalf of the victims of these truly terrifying crimes.”

On August 17, 2022, around 12 a.m., the victim, 34, exited a gas station and was walking back towards her parked vehicle near Lakewood Heights Boulevard and Bunts Road in Cleveland. Treveon Jones approached the victim with a gun, demanded her car keys, and fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. The victim called the police and the Cleveland Division of Police (CPD) responded to the scene.

Later that day, around 5 p.m., the victims, 64 and 73, pulled into an apartment complex near Golden Avenue and East 80th Street in Cleveland. Treveon Jones and Jaahardin Louis-Jones approached the victim, 64, sitting in the driver’s seat, and pointed a gun at her face. They pulled her out of her vehicle and told her to, “keep moving.” The second victim, 73, exited the vehicle. Treveon Jones and Jaahardin Louis-Jones fled the scene, one driving the original vehicle they arrived in and the other driving the victim’s vehicle. The victims called the police and CPD responded to the scene.

That evening, around 9 p.m., the victims, 46 and 47, parked their vehicle at a gas station near Lakewood Heights Boulevard and Bunts Road in Cleveland. Treveon Jones and Anthony Evans approached the victims with rifles and demanded their car keys. They were unsuccessful in taking the vehicle. They fled the scene in the original vehicle they arrived in with Jaahardin Louis-Jones. The victims ran inside the gas station and called the police. CPD responded to the scene.

Afterwards, around 11 p.m., the victim, 49, parked her vehicle at a gas station near Center Ridge Road and Wagar Road in Rocky River. Treveon Jones and Anthony Evans approached the victim, chased her, hit her in the head with a gun, kicked her multiple times, stole her purse containing her key and wallet, and then fled the scene in her vehicle. Following them, Jaahardin Louis-Jones fled in the original vehicle they arrived in. The Rocky River Police Department responded to the scene. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and was treated for her injuries.

On August 18, around 3:40 a.m., the victim, 62, was walking back to his car from a gas station near Brecksville Road and Rockside Road in Independence. Treveon Jones and Anthony Evans approached the victim, brandished AK-47s, verbally threatened him, stole his wallet, and then fled in his vehicle. The Independence Police Department responded to the scene.

On August 19, around 12 a.m., the victim, 23, exited a gas station and was walking back towards her parked vehicle near Mayfield Road and Coventry Road in Cleveland Heights. Treveon Jones and Anthony Evans approached the victim. Evans brandished an AK-47, pistol whipped her, and stole her car keys. Evans then fled the scene in her vehicle. Jones fled the scene in the original vehicle they arrived in. The victim called police and the Cleveland Heights Police Department responded to the scene.

An investigation conducted by the Cleveland Division of Police, Rocky River Police Department, the Cleveland Heights Police Department, and Independence Police Department linked Treveon Jones, Jaahdarion Louis-Jones, and Anthony Evans to the six incidents. The investigation remains ongoing.

On February 3, 2023, Treveon Jones was indicted on the following charges:

  • One count of Engaging In A Pattern Of Corrupt Activity
  • Six counts of Aggravated Robbery
  • Six counts of Kidnapping
  • 12 counts of Robbery
  • Four counts of Felonious Assault
  • Three counts of Possessing Criminal Tools

On February 3, 2023, Jaahdarion Louis-Jones was indicted on the following charges:

  • One count of Engaging In A Pattern Of Corrupt Activity
  • Three counts of Aggravated Robbery
  • Three counts of Kidnapping
  • Six counts of Robbery
  • Two counts of Felonious Assault
  • Three counts of Possessing Criminal Tools

On February 3, 2023, Anthony Evans was indicted on the following charges:

  • One count of Engaging In A Pattern Of Corrupt Activity
  • Four counts of Aggravated Robbery
  • Four counts of Kidnapping
  • Eight counts of Robbery
  • Four counts of Felonious Assault
  • Three counts of Possessing Criminal Tools
