On April 25, 2026, around 5:40 p.m., Christian Bryant parked a commercial truck outside of Costco Wholesale in Strongsville. He exited the vehicle and walked toward the front entrance with a firearm that had a 50-round drum magazine hanging from his shorts’ pocket.

Bryant then shot Corrigan multiple times, causing Corrigan to fall, and Bryant came closer to him and shot him again. The Strongsville Police Department and EMS responded to the scene, and a knife was located near Corrigan.

Bryant was arrested at the scene. Corrigan was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

On May 11, 2026, Christian Bryant was indicted on the following charges:

  • Two counts of Murder (A & B)
  • Two counts of Felonious Assault (F2)
